After many years of being storytellers and troubadours, we are ecstatic to have made our first venture into the studio!

Our first album “Ruminations of ShantiMaya”was recorded in 2020, produced and mixed by Juno Award winner Chris Gartner and featuring a stellar list of fifteen guest musicians, we are proud and excited to share our baby with the world!

Ruminations of Shantimaya is a product of many years of chanting, deep spiritual practise, and many hours spent on the studio creation. our music and melodies come straight from the heart, and it is this flavour we have endeavored to incorporate into the album.

we are indebted to the many beautiful and talented singers and instrumentalists who contributed to this album, and yet we have sought above all to try to recapture the essence of our live sound, and the bliss of singing in community.

our journey as singers and storytellers would never have been possible without the inspiration of our teachers David Newman, Brenda McMorrow and Seán Johnson who have all been selflessly supportive every step of the way

our producer and mixer (and bass player) Chris Gartner carries a very well deserved stellar reputation for bringing the sounds and arrangements from our heads and hearts, and manifesting them in a sonically rich environment. we hope you enjoy!
